사랑하는 헙심자 여러분에게
국제사무국장 Karen H.
Sometimes I get so busy that I inadvertently miss a wonderful opportunity such as this to express good wishes on a well deserved accomplishment. With that being said, I would like to congratulate Korea GA. on their 25 Year Anniversary.
때때로 나는 너무 바빠서 고의 아니게 이와 같이 응당 대접받아야 할 업적에 행운을 비는 멋진 기회를 놓치기도 합니다. 이렇게 말을 하면서 또한 한국 단도박모임의 25주년 행사를 축하하고자 합니다.
When I first started working here at Gamblers Anonymous International Service Office, almost 20 years ago, I remember Father Paul W. bringing me a Korean Combo book, I still have that book today! I thought how wonderful it is that there is a place for compulsive gamblers to go in Korea that have a gambling problem.
거의 20년 전 처음 국제 사무국에서 일을 시작했을 때 백 신부님이 나에게 한국의 캄보 책자를 가져온 것을 기억하는 데 지금도 나는 그 책자를 가지고 있습니다. 당시 한국에 도박에 문제가 있는 도박중독자들이 갈 수 있는 장소가 있다는 것이 얼마나 다행스러운 일인가 생각했습니다.
I know the members in the early days, along with Father Paul, did an excellent job to get the meetings up and running. And I know that today Korea not only has many meetings but also has been allotted two Trustees on the International Board of Trustees for Area 26.
나는 초창기에 단도박모임을 만들고 운영되도록 훌륭하게 일을 했던 협심자들을 압니다. 그리고 오늘날 한국에 지금까지 많은 모임이 생겼을 뿐만 아니라 국제 평의회 제 26지구에 두명의 평의원을 할당 받은 것을 알고 있습니다.
To all members of Korea GA: CONGRATULATIONS and thank you ALL for keeping the faith with the program and for doing what it takes not to gamble, One Day at a Time.
한국 단도박모임의 모든 협심자에게 : 이 프로그램에 대한 신념을 간직한 채 한 번에 하루씩 도박을 하지 않으려고 했던 것에 대해 여러분 모두에게 축하를 보내며 그리고 감사합니다.
